Prius OHV

Sunny and Stormy have gotten the "rock crawling bug". Now, a normal couple would buy a jeep with lockers, sway bar controls, a 3-4 inch lift kit and 35-40 inch tires. However, this environmentally conscious couple chose to modify their existing Prius...

I think they are now ready for Pritchett Canyon (rated 9+). Normally, I would go with them to see this beast in action but I do not believe I have enough clean underwear for that ride.

Warner Lake Campground

Given a temperature forecast of 103 degrees for Moab, Sunny, Stormy and I decided to drive the Prius OHV high into the La Sal Mountains to the Warner Lake Campground (where the temperature was in the 70s) and have a picnic lunch beside a mountain lake. Click on photos to enlarge.

Here's Sunny preparing for the arduous journey

Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo

After dinner Stormy, Sunny and I went next door to the Old Spanish Trail Arena to see the Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo. Although watching the cowboys and cowgirls was fun, it was the kids that stole the show. Here's a video of the "Stick Horse Racing" and "Mutton Busting"...

PS - scratch rodeo clown off the list of things I want to do when I grow up...
