Paiute Trails 77, 35, 02, 01, 54, 53, 33, 44, 78, 65, 24

Cliff took me on a number of black "most difficult" trails that were an absolute blast. One of the ways I know I am having too much fun is that I forget to have lunch (no worries, I made up for it at dinner).

  2. Thanks for the post. I'm planning a return trip there this August. Would you recommend trail 33? I've heard it's really rough. I could squeeze it in on a long day, but wondering if its worth it. Thanks for any feedback you can offer.

  3. Trail difficulty is somewhat subjective depending on a rider's experience. In my opinion, an experienced rider in a side-by-side would not have any problem with #33. I found the 50" inch trails to be the most interesting rides in the area. Best wishes for a safe trip.

  4. Thanks for the reply. I should have provided more detail. I was there last August and rode most of the 50" trails (riding ATV's). I suppose I was trying to determine if PST 33 was rough and rocky (meaning it beats you up) like the approach to the Rocky Ford Canyon, or more like trail 89. Nevertheless, will try and fit it in on this coming trip. Enjoy your travels!

  5. Prior to riding, you could call Jim, the owner of the South Forty RV Park, for the latest trail conditions. When I rode 33 last year, there were some sections that were quite rocky but I believe you will enjoy it if for no other reason than the variety of terrain.
