Swansea is an old copper-mining community that existed in the early 1900s between Parker and Bouse, Arizona. It consists today of old buildings and concrete foundations. As you walk around the area, there are plaques telling you about the history of the mine/town and its various structures.

Normally, I do not take photos of things that are examples of something I cannot spell but in this case, I made an exception. < grin >
