The
Bitter Springs Trail is about an hour northeast of Las Vegas. I have mixed feelings about today's drive. Although the trail has some beautiful rock formations along the way, there were too many long, boring sections for me to get excited about doing it again anytime soon.
I chose to drive the trail from east to west in order to have the sun at my back. This was accomplished by going through the
Lake Mead National Recreational Area which is worth a day's trip in itself. Click on photos to enlarge.
